Well call me dumbfounded!! Star Jones and Al Reynolds divorced? That's as shocking as the sky is blue today!! After three and a half years, you would think that it was as solid as wedding cake."Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life," Jones said in a statement. And no kidding. Their wedding had more sponsors than love, and was criticized for the avid publicity rather than the matrimony. Not to mention all the rumors - his wardrobe was prettier than hers. Supposedly he IS gayer than Richard Simmons drinking a Cosmo, wearing 4" pumps at my birthday bash in Fire Island. Whatever have you, I think the prenup has calculated him some good money after being married for more than 2 years. Not sure just yet how that is going down, but from what I hear she is honoring all the marriage agreements made.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Star has further stated "A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman." Sounds like she isn't letting this whole divorce thing break her after all.
In other surprising news, Madonna is in fact a white woman!
