Sorry I haven't written anything in a while. I've been so busy being busy with other things, and when I'm not busy I just enjoy being a lazy spic. It's not like I have a hoard of a following, I'm not even sure anyone reads my blogs. Well maybe God does, wondering why he has wasted half a soul on my pathetic life. But that's his opinion, and he can go suck it!

Anyway, I will be reviewing some of the latest events and going's on in the late so I can muster up something for no one to read again. Of course there is a lot of catching up to do, considering I'm way behind on my current events.

Amy has checked in...and stayed in...!!!!

So we hear that Ms. Winehouse has remained in the hospital for more tests after her father rushed her there on Monday June 16, 2008. Supposedly she had a fainting spell and needed to be checked in. If you ask me, fainting is probably the least of her concerns.

Really I do love her as she's undoubtedly one of the most talented singers/songwriters of today, but clearly she has personal problems with drugs. These days the Blacks, Pakis, Gooks, Nips, the Deaf, Dumb, Blind and Gays are also on her hit list. We can forgive her for that, but for Christ's sake, walk it off boo! Even Brit and Fire Crotch have better reasons to be hospitalized.

In any case, thank god her manager's assistant was there to catch her fall. Reportedly, she actually fainted after Canadian fans who waited on her to sign autographs abruptly left after waiting to see their soul diva in distress for far too long outside of her home.

I don't know about you, but just the thought of Canadians anywhere near my home would make me light footed too. Perhaps they're all just better off at Celine's pad.

Stimulus Tax Rebate my a$$.....

President Bush (do we still call him that......is he entitled?), has announced that the rebate checks will begin going out on Monday the 28th, a whole week earlier than expected.

"This money is going to help Americans offset the high prices we're seeing at the gas pump, at the grocery store, and will also give our economy a boost to help us pull out of this economic slowdown," he stated.

The $168 billion stimulus package will be going to individuals and families, ranging from $300 to $1,200. I don't know about you, but whenever it does get here it's going straight to bills, bills, bills. Unfortunately that's going to be my only contribution to helping the economy. As a tax preparer myself, don't bother looking for it if you owe Uncle Sam any money either. They will of course be chipping away from that what you owe THEM! That should get the economy going. Though I'm not complaining, every little bit helps and if they want to foot the IRS bill - by all means. With the housing, credit and financial debacle, the "slowdown" as Bush calls it, looks like the stimulus will hardly put a dent into anything our economy is suffering from.

I say we should invite him and his whole administration to buy some new sneakers from a V.I.M.'s in Brooklyn if they are that concerned. Or how about make gas and milk FREE for a whole week! I know a lot to ask for, maybe something more realistic would suffice. SEND US SOME JOBS!!!!!

Star and Al....a match made in Divorce Court!!

Well call me dumbfounded!! Star Jones and Al Reynolds divorced? That's as shocking as the sky is blue today!! After three and a half years, you would think that it was as solid as wedding cake.

"Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life," Jones said in a statement. And no kidding. Their wedding had more sponsors than love, and was criticized for the avid publicity rather than the matrimony. Not to mention all the rumors - his wardrobe was prettier than hers. Supposedly he IS gayer than Richard Simmons drinking a Cosmo, wearing 4" pumps at my birthday bash in Fire Island. Whatever have you, I think the prenup has calculated him some good money after being married for more than 2 years. Not sure just yet how that is going down, but from what I hear she is honoring all the marriage agreements made.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Star has further stated "A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman." Sounds like she isn't letting this whole divorce thing break her after all.

In other surprising news, Madonna is in fact a white woman!

Miley Cyrus can count and WRITE!!!!!

Yes, so I hear Miley "Hannah Montana" Cyrus is inking a book in
the tune of six figures and better. Picture it, the life and times of a
struggling actress who couldn't make it on the coattails of her own father,
realizing she wants to play a mediocre singer on an even more fantastic
show. 15 years of abuse and let downs, all come to a point in life where God throws her a break!

Actually the book will delve into her behind the scenes saga of fun and
good old great times. Intimate moments of her and her parents and close friends. It makes for a hell of a read I'm sure, and with all her life's ups.....and ups, a quick one too! Don't worry kids, a few years from now an even better read about her cracked out days of yesterday, lying in her own piss in a gutter somewhere, sucking on a Twizzler out of Lindsay's crack. By then of course Disney will have dropped her, and her
tours would be no more than an hour long of her humming and two stepping (not a long shot from where she is now musically). I'm no hater though, I actually like her if for no more than my younger nieces
love for her.

Stay tuned kids, I'm sure once published we'll need a review, and
perhaps go to the book signing, where she'll hire daddy to do the actual
signatures. If that doesn't interest you, wait til the book is leaked on the
internet! (How come Raven wasn't offered her own book deal???? - Now that sounds more like a riveting story!!!!)

Barbie Sales Fall

Mattel has posted some losses, in part due to its biggest brand of lagging sales of the icon we know as "Barbie". Yes kids, your moms have not been buying much of Barbie these days, rendering her just as close to the poor house as the rest of us! (Wonder who she'll be voting for??)

Don't feel too bad for her though, unlike us she comes in many forms, sizes and shades. She is still very popular overseas, boasting at least a 1% increase in sales internationally. So why the lack here in the U.S.?

Well for one, why would little Maria and Tyesha want a Barbie when they have a choice now with "The Bratz", who look more like an exaggerated reflection of themselves, than Barbie does with her blowing blonde locks in the wind, with a chiseled jaw and nose, in her hatchback. Looks like the only variations in Barbie are sold overseas (otherwise they don't want her either).

Secondly put your daughter on the computer, she'll either be E-Baying one for much less, or Myspacing her girls from 'round the way. Who is sitting down to play with this stiff doll nowadays anyway, unless your collecting her (have you seen the "Cher" edition!!).

In any case to help Ms Barbie and her crew of friends, Kens, pets and babies, Mattel will be upgrading her wholesale prices this fall. Way to make up for their retarded 2008 "Mariposa" Barbie!!!!

Pennsylvania Democratic Primary Looming

With the impending Pennsylvania primary looming for the Presidential Candidate Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, excitement has arisen in the state. Elsewhere for those of us who have already voted, anxiety has settled in. These two have been battling blow to blow, stumping and pandering any votes they can to clinch the nomination. Truth be told, neither of them will ever make the delegates needed to hold the nomination. Barack with 1,644 and Hillary holding on to 1,498 (and holding on by the skin of her teeth to her supers). Both a mile from the 2,025 mark.

In any case, hopes are high and stakes are huge this election year. In my opinion, either one would make a great candidate against Republican John McCain, if for nothing more than headlines, which the other party will be happy to initiate the digging of even more fodder against them. Not to mention either holds history in the making (I think of it more like history in the waiting, that's been long over due!!).

I believe very strongly that both have sincere reasons for running for office, and do want to make more of the seat in the White House and run this country of ours into a different direction than where it is now, and mostly for the best. Yes, Hillary has her clear and present faults, not connecting well with many voters through her impersonal stance. She is quite hard edged, and determined to be atop, which makes her out to be more like evil witch, out to do anything to get in. She's a woman running in a man's game - I think she pretty much has to continue to be who she is, and may not have been where she is if she were a blossoming flower.

Barack on the other hand, an eloquent speaker of promises of a hopeful tomorrow reaches those with nothing more to lose and are betting on him with their faith and belief that he can create such. He has his rookie faults, but nevertheless a well mannered dignified candidate. He possesses super star quality which ironically Bill Clinton held onto for so long just before him. If you think about it, Hillary is running against a more polished version of her husband. He too is running a race in which is not only a man's game, but has previously been a White's only club.

Whomever you vote for, for whatever reason that your hearts and minds and its convictions are pulling towards (even if it is McCain too), please do so consciously knowing that it is without prejudice and beyond the facts and/or fabricated stories. Behind any of the super media blitz you see on television, is another human being running for office to replace a robot!!!
